Description:
Administered by the Alabama Power Foundation, the Water Course features high-tech interactive exhibits that teach visitors about Alabama waterways, the environment, and their impact on everyday life. The facility is located in the Alabama Power Company building, just next door to Durbin Farms, which sells fresh, locally grown, fruits and vegetables. It features a video on the Mitchell Dam, an aquarium of Alabama river creatures and a simulated flyover of and introduction to Alabama's rivers and streams.
